Wolfbrau House of Beer is located across the street from Mid Rivers Mall. The place is fairly small but is very well stocked. There are no BMC products to take up self space. Ryan is very knowledgeable when it comes to beers and is eager to assist you in selecting beer or answering questions. In the back there is a good variety of singles to build your own six-pack from. There are weekly tasting sessions to introduce you to new beers. This has become my regular stop for most of my beer needs. Well worth checking out.

Unassuming, bright, clean place that does one thing. Sell good beer. Reflects the owner, who is exactly the same way. There are beers here that you don’t see many other places within reach the St. Charles area. Prices are competitive with even grocery stores for the few bottles that are crossovers. He is willing to answer virtually any question you have, and will gladly make recommendations based on your taste. Beer Tasting every Wed and Saturday, to boot. I’ve seen him special order beer if he doesn’t stock it.

Ryan has put together an impressive and well thought out beer store. His selections are very diverse and he has a great layout. His understanding of beer is excellent and he can answer just about any question. I try to swing by at least once a week to check out what he has in stock.

Great new place across the street from Mid Rivers Mall. Apparently just opened up in December. Relatively small store, but organized very well and neat. Great selection of American micros and quality imports. Great build your own 6-pack selections. Prices seemed very reasonable. Talked to the owner who was super nice, and seemed very knowledgeable. Tastings on Wed nights and Saturdays. I think I found my new favorite place to buy beer!

Visited the second day they were open. Not crowded and was able to walk around the store and check all the inventory. The owner, Ryan came up to me and asked if he could help. We chatted for a while and then he provided several suggestions on various beers I had not tried. As we were talking, he received another shipment of various Bell’s, Odell’s Sierra Nevada and several other seasonal releases. He asked that I come back and give him my opinion on his picks, which I will do after the first of the year. Very well organized store, and he is expecting to add more shelving in the near future.
