2 reviews for Monster B’s Bar and Grille
| blklab2007 (10), Connecticut | | June 10, 2008 I have been to this place three times now and certain things are getting better. first on the beer side, the taps they have are some of the best in the area. location is nice because it is not in downtown like all the other area places where there is no parking and a crowd. the food on the other hand is mediocre. the first time i went with a group of ten during dinner and they could not keep up. seems they book a lot of large tables for parties. the food itself was hit or miss, nothing was great and a few things were terrible. service was bearable but they knew nothing about beer that was helpful. if you are going for the beer then it is a great choice and the atmosphere is casual. the online tap list is far better than what they are serving now, must have been the list from there opening a few months ago. | | joebudzjoe (19), Connecticut | | May 24, 2008 [ Updated October 15, 2009 ] When looking for a bar in Fairfield county with a wide selection of beers, you will usually find yourself in a stuffy, uptight WASP bar where every guy looks like a carbon copy and every girl is on her cell phone. This place is different. This is one of the few places in Fairfield country where the everyday man can find a world class beer. They have 30 beers on draft and the rotation is always changing. Even though the bartenders and wait staff tend to know very little about beer, you can’t beat the $3 happy hour drafts from 4-8 every weekday. |
