| Bierkrug (214), Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Germany | | February 11, 2012 Over the years I have stopped in here often and I was sure that I had rated the place before. Anyway that being said it is nice to have some different beers at the airport. They even have seasonals. | | DYCSoccer17 (244), Woodland, California | | June 3, 2011 Well, this is a pretty small, typical airport bar. I think they had 4 beers on tap. Nothing special. There were maybe 10 stools at the bar, and maybe another 10-12 small tables. Very crammed and small. The service was your typical shitty airport service. Didn’t try the food. It’s better than Gordon Biersch and anything with BMC, so I guess this is a place one goes out of necessity. | | Travlr (637), Washington, Washington DC | | March 3, 2011 An underwhelming place. Servers are nice, food is what you would expect. 4 taps include Bud Lite. Oak Barrel Stout, Lager & Pale Ale were on when I stopped by. | | gnoff (200), Göteborg, Sweden | | February 3, 2011 Nice little place located in between gates A and B, pretty much. Cool lady working there, nice chili for late lunch. Sampled a two beers and bought one, couldn’t continue even though I wanted to since I had to stay fairly sober for my flight... Can for sure recommend it if you need to kill a few hours at Dulles! Think they had 5 of their own beers on tap, plus 3 others. | | bhensonb (375), Woodland, California | | October 19, 2009 Kind of a decent place. As Oakes wrote. There were 5 taps, so 5 ticks, and the ales were pretty good. Had good service - only two of us at the bar! | | Oakes (593), Gibsons, British Columbia | | June 11, 2009 Typical airport bar, with Old Dominion beers. Had the Oak Barrel Stout on tap and a seasonal bock that was kind of iffy. A quieter bar in a quieter terminal, which helped its atmosphere out a bit. | | 3fourths (962), Boulder, Colorado | | May 6, 2009 Old Dominion has a bar in concourse B with about a half-dozen taps. Lager, amber, etc., the one seasonal was oak barrel stout. Check the link above and you’ll see there’s a Sam Adams bar in another terminal as well as a couple of other spots labeled brewpubs. Service score of 7 is good, I generally find the bartenders in airports to be the happiest people in the entire terminal, no surprise. | | epf33 (14), Fairfax, Virginia | | February 29, 2008 love the setting, can see right out to the airplanes. very small, and inside the airport, but an enjoyable getaway from the business of the airport | | Ungstrup (335), Oamaru, New Zealand | | February 11, 2007 The location I was at only had 3 beers on draft, and 1 ran dry while I was there. It is the least inspiring beers from the Old Dominion lineup that is available. The service was poor and the place a boring airport place - but better than only being able to get BMC. The food was boring. | | hopscotch (187), Vero Beach , Florida | | October 25, 2006 They have only a small portion of the beers on tap at the brewpub in Ashburn. It’s noisy, crowed, understaffed and very small. I didn’t eat. Being able to order a draft version of their Oak Barrel Stout while waiting for a flight: Priceless! |
