Went there for a quick lunch with my wife, before we planed to going to the Stockholm Beerfestival. But because of the great range of lovely and rare beers we ended up staying there the whole day, and waited till the next day to go to the beerfestiva. Great beers served in good condition, nice food and friendly, serviceminded staff. Top place :-)

For a geeky beer nerd that like close-minded in a relaxing atmosphere - this is like heaven on earth. Overall the belgian selection is out-f*cking-standing. Still, I haven’t been able to check out the vintage beers! Oh, and two different Cantillon on tap - bite me.

Had some crazy good beers here. 1999 version of stille nacht, cantillon gueze 2004, Konjack stormaktsporter and a lot more… their cellar is insane and if you are looking for something rare and aged then this is the place.
The taps when i was there were nothing special.. well, they did have two cantillon on tap which is pretty awesome but the rest was nothing special. It’s also a little more expensive then the other bars around - same beers here tend to be a little more expensive… food looked tasty but didn’t try it ---- yet ;)
great place but would have wanted to see some more fresh ipa/apa’s

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? It’s almost certainly the best beer geek bar in Stockholm...the vintage bottle list is quite extensive (tons of lambic, lots of Trappists, etc.), but old beer (and Cantillon, which seems to be a favorite of the owner) doesn’t really interest me that much so that part is a little lost on me. The primary reason for coming here, ironically enough (considering I just came here after yet another visit to Franconia, including 4 visits to Andreas’s Zoiglstube), is the Gaenstaller Pils and Rocks, which are two of the best beers this bar offers IMHO. The thing about Akkurat, though, is that there is a pretty low risk of disappointment...whereas every other bar I visited had a ton of junk on their lists, Akkurat doesn’t fuck around too much with lesser brews. Sure, they have some losers from Nynashamns (that lager is horrible) and others, but despite many visits I never had anything remotely close to a bad session...even the worst beers were drinkable. That’s pretty tough to accomplish. And they serve everything at an almost perfect temperature, whereas most of the other high-rated bars in the city are serving their beer way too cold. The waitstaff is about 90% good eggs, too...very little stink-eye or condescending attitude here, which I have gotten at several other bars in Stockholm (versus Helsinki and Oslo, where I didn’t experience this at all, as far as I recall), so I feel more relaxed and welcome here...too bad most bar owners don’t realize the value of this...it really, really impacts the desire to return or not...treat your customers like unwanted garbage, and they won’t want to come back. Good food, but kind of a limited menu (the salmon appetizer is simple but the great breads that accompany it make it hard to resist...have had it three times already, even though it’s around US$20). Relative to the best bars the world has to offer, it’s hard to quite score this 90+ based on my own tastes (a 100 place rating would likely only be a place that I ran myself), but it’s absolutely essential in Stockholm...especially if you like Cantillon lambic (and are willing to sell your car in order to pay for it).

Not much to add to all the previous reviews, this place is world class for sure. Visited on a Saturday night with no booking so it took some time to find a good table in the main bar area. In the meantime I had the pleasure to try some Swedish micro brews that really impressed for quality. Draft list is interesting but not mind blowing. The Cantillon of course has it’s value, as well as the other obscure Nordic beers. Once settled at a table we got started with some Brlgian cheeses and a Soleil. What a treat. The night went on with more food and many more beers. The menu I reckon could use some more traditional offerings but all we got (moules mariniere and Swedish beef plate above all) was very good (and pricey!). The bottle selection is just unbelievable. They have told you about it, you read about it and saw pictures, but you still can’t believe once it’s in front of you. And the best part is that some crazy stuff like an 11 year vertical of Westy 12 or a 11 year old Petit Orval would go unnoticed. Was prepared to kill the wallet so settled on some one off Cantillons, but be prepared to pay for it. Not as much as in Belgium though: the rare lambic is cheaper here than from its originating country nowadays. Service was attent and friendly, with a cherish atmosphere to the pub. Overall, it can only be the best pub/restaurant I’ve ever been to and can’t imagine any place gating much better than this. I’ll hopefully be back.

World class. Huge bottle list, great taplist, nice service, classy place. The only downfall to this place is it is (like everywhere else in Sweden) a bit pricey. When you look at it in a larger perspective, they aren’t higher priced than anyone else in the area, and some of these bottles you literally cannot get anywhere else. Truly outstanding.

Visited on lunchtime on a Friday, really packed. Quite expensive at first look. Did only have one beer there, so can´t tell much about the selection. Friendly staff, cozy looking place. Having Cantillon on tap doesn´t exactly lower the points either :)

Beer geek heaven. Expensive but nothing compares to their vintage bottle list. Draft list is good to with beers from Swedish craft brewers, Cantillon and Gänstaller. Great cozy ambience that can handle a big crowd too. Friendly staff that knows beer.
