English- themed pub right in the most touristy part of stockholm. From the appearance, you wouldn’t think much of the place beer-wise: seems like a pub decorated to feel safe and familiar for all the (finnish) tourists passing by. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised sometimes. Although their top seller is probably the ’stor stark’ (marianstad lager iirc), they can feature a couple of taps with something that’s actually tasty (mostly swedish microbrew). But there’s a lot better places in this town, wouldn’t waste much time here.

Pickwick’s is very much like an old fashioned English city pub, with lots of polished woodwork and sage coloured walls. The glass cabinets behind the bar, where some of the bottles are displayed, give the impression of a shop front with bay windows either side of a door.
The beer selection was reasonably good, with a few interesting Swedish and Danish draughts alongside the more commonplace Guinness, Kilkenny and Schneider Weissbier.
