Rerating this after they moved to the basement of the PK Building. New store is slightly smaller and in my opinion in a worse location. Ambiance is what you’d expect from a Systembolaget store. This is not a place you stay in longer than necessary. The staff is friendly, though, if not very knowledgeable, and the selection is the best you’ll find in Sweden. There’s obviously nothing super rare, but the standard selection is good, they’ll have most of the Monk’s Café stuff, the Rocheforts and various others you won’t find in any other store. They also have a fair amount of the small batch releases left on shelf, so this is a good place to go if you missed out on any of those releases.

The best beer retail in Sweden. Nice amounts of imports and a considerable space given to beer compared to a regular System store.

Large off-licence in the NK shopping centre. Had the best selection of the few of these shops I visited and is in a good central location. Prices good for Sweden.

March 2014. Central, easy to find off license. I was surprised by the amount of choice, good for Swedish, but some other import treats, US in particular. Looking forward to going back next month

Visited on a Saturday morning. Very large monopoly state store with a good selection of beer. Selection include some Swedish beers and a bunch of foreign beers, including some good bottles like Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti and alike. Nothing seems to be refrigerated, so I would be very cautious with hoppy stuff. Prices are decent, including on the foreign beers. Good store.

Visited on a Saturday morning. I was impressed by the selection for a state monopoly. Lots of american stuff, quality bottles from everywhere, I was expecting more country ticks but that isn’t really a big loss for a beer selection. There was a ton of beer however. I wouldn’t buy too much hoppy stuff here as a lot of beer appears to sit there or in warehouses for a long time, but they have some really nice imperial stouts and barley wines and stuff that are worth checking out. Prices were high but not outrageous, sometimes better than in free beer market european countries. Definitely worth checking out. There wasnt much aisle service but the girl at the cash suggested a few beer places to us in Stockholm, and people were friendly.

Good selection of international beers (most of them from Belgium, USA, Sweden, Germany) in the middle of the city. Prices as always in sweden. Worth a visit when in town.
