| 3fourths (962), Boulder, Colorado | | May 24, 2012 Wide and varied selection same as many of the other Bishop Arms in Sweden. sidewalk patio, a number of hand pumps, expansive interior. Solid selection of taps but more limited number of bottles compared to all other non-Akkurat bars in Stockholm. | | Arve_Christian (68), Oslo, Norway | | March 12, 2012 Great service and selection | | Habanero (18), Tranbjerg, Denmark | | March 10, 2012 A very extraordiry pub with a great beer selection both tap and bottled beers. The staff is very helpfull and offering a great service and ambiance. | jisak74 (1), Stockholm, Sweden does not count - explanation | | March 9, 2012 Good selection and rotation of beers. The food is much better than you would expect in a Bishops Arms. | | chrull (13), , Sweden | | February 23, 2012 I started coming here when it was newly opened, and fell in love with the place. It doesn’t have the best selection of beers, but with interesting selections and a quick rotation of the taps makes it good enough for several visits per week.
It’s a bit off the beaten track, and that means a company of 4 is actually able to find a place to sit at 19:00 on a friday, unique for good beer pubs in stockholm... | Alf_Bigfoot (6), Solna, Sweden does not count - explanation | | February 15, 2012 The Best BA-pub in Stockholm (propably Sweden). Great locale, Great personale and really good selection of beer on tap and bottle. The Bottled stuff in the locked fridge is really god but also really expensive. I’ve only eaten once at BA-F, but that was also really good. I like it! | | cpetrone84 (34), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | January 12, 2012 The vibe is dark downstairs, Interesting mixture of brass everywhere, pretty empty in the afternoon, solid selection, nice bartender, local taplist, definitely worth a stop despite not being the city’s top spot. | | Mad_Ferret (12), , Sweden | | January 5, 2012 My favourite local place that I probably visit way too much. Really nice people behind the bar who often sit down after work and chat with a beer. The selection is good and theres always something interesting. They manage their new beers straight away on Fatkoll.se which is a big plus.
The Bishops Arms restaurants can be a bit pricey though and even if this particular place wants to be ambigious with their food, it’s not perhaps something to wave your arms franticly about. | | MrChopin (89), Baltimore, Maryland | | November 6, 2011 The vibe is dark downstairs, black. Interesting mixture of brass everywhere, sterile feeling in the emptiness of 4pm on a weekday. Excellent selection, nice service, local taplist is awesome, and definitely worth a stop despite not being the city’s top spot. | | Marko (169), Split, Croatia | | October 9, 2011 Walked here from Oliver Twist (bit of a long walk, but I wanted to see this part of the town). The guy going out when I was going in was a dead ringer for Patrick Stewart O.o. Inside, typical BA. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. Not enough people to create an atmosphere, but it did seem more relaxed than most of them (again, because of that). Which might have something to do with the outrageous BA prices. No real rarities on tap this time (actually a first for me in a BA, always had luck before), so I ordered another overpriced Swedish seasonal lager, S:t Eriks Sommaröl and it cost me 75 SEK. As they wouldn’t serve anything less than 0.5l. (though I don’t thing that the cost of a 0.33l would be any less outrageous). The bottles in the fridges looked appealing, including what seemed to be a(n almost) full lineup of Brewdog’s Abstrakts, which I safely ignored, knowing that the price would only piss me off further. If going for ticks, don’t go here alone, unless you’re willing to spend and drink A LOT. |
