Smallprint (3), , does not count - explanation | | September 8, 2011 Probably the best pub in the city, a tiny pub located in the city centre. Usually has five guest ales on at any time aswell as the resident ale which is Bass. Usually have one stout/porter, one mild, one blonde and one bitter on at a time, though this does sometimes change. Old Rosie is also served. Staropramen is also available on draught, aswell as Carling, Magners and Worthington Creamflow. Amongst the friendliest atmospheres you’ll find, a very cosy pub with large open fires and very friendly and talkative staff. Great pub that any ale fan needs to visit. | | niquillis (42), Stoke on Trent, England | | June 26, 2011 A multi roomed traditional pub very close to Hanley Bus Station. A fast changing range of ales from breweries far and wide. Midlands breweries are well represented. A proper pub which unfortunately under threat of closure with the regeneration of Hanley. |
