| Cunningham (118), Halden, Norway | | October 22, 2011 Nice place with a lot of good beers from Titanic brewery :-) | Smallprint (3), , does not count - explanation | | September 8, 2011 The best pub in the town of Stoke (though The Coachmakers would get my vote as the best pub in Stoke-on-Trent), very nice looking pub with a good atmosphere. Old newspaper clippings and other Titanic related memorabilia on the wall, though it doesn’t feel tacky.
Good selection of ales. Titanic Iceberg, Captain Smiths, White Star, Stout, Steerage and Anchor are always available, Chocolate & Vanilla Stout is often available too. Other Titanic ales make showings too as well as various guest ales from across the country. Leffe Blonde is also available on tap, aswell as Budvar, Amstel and Heineken. Duvel, Chimay Blue and Chimay Red are also available in bottles. Struggle to find something you won’t like. Only gripe is that the non-Titanic ales are a bit pricey, Leffe Blonde being £4.40 a pint.
Excellent pub in general though, visit regularly. I’ve yet to try the food, but the meals do look very good aswell as great value, getting large portions for your money. | | niquillis (42), Stoke on Trent, England | | June 26, 2011 A Titanic pub which is 5-10 minute walk from Stoke on Trent railway station. Mainly Titanic ales plus Everards and 2 guest ales, 10 in total. Excellent pub. | | Rune (234), Tromsø, Norway | | May 7, 2009 Perfect located just five minutes from the Stoke-On-Trent railway station. Relatively new pub that opened in May 2008 as an outlet for the Titanic Brewery. Eight hand pumps of real ales, most of them from the brewery, but also a couple of guest ales. Two new Titanic brews came on while we visited this lively pub on a Saturday afternoon. Situated not so far away from the Britannia Stadium the beers are served in plastic glass on match days (Stoke-Hammers 0-1). Medium sized place full of pubcos and friendliness. See website for the tempting food menu
