| Ernesto987 (54), Connecticut | | February 26, 2011 rare gems are found here cause they only sell 30’s of stones. Watch the experation dates though. | | Alphadelic (48), Portland, Oregon | | April 19, 2010 Massive selection. The best in town except you might find it a little pricy for some things. 6-packs can be broken up no problems. Plenty of rare goodies to be had. | | joebudzjoe (33), Connecticut | | July 7, 2009 This was my favorite beer store spot while I was a student at UConn. Despite the fact that most of their business comes from their sales of 30 racks of Keystone and handles of Dubra, Villa has one of the best selections of fine beer in NE Connecticut. Since the store is very close to the college, prices aren’t too reasonable, but the staff is always quick to help good beer lovers. | bennyshaik (2), does not count - explanation | | May 31, 2009 Best for miles, unless you go to MA. For a store less than 5 miles from a large college, Villa has a great selection of beer, and decent wine too. Anything else is Captain Morgans/Dubra all the way, but I’m impressed by their beer. | | mkgrenwel (62), Cambridge, Massachusetts | | September 6, 2006 A really big store that is largely frequented by college students. The focus clearly isn’t on craft beer and quality imports, but they do carry a good bit of it. In fact, it’s probably the best selection in this part of the state (east of 84). It seems like they never get anything new, so don’t stop in too often. |
