May 29, 2011 Excellent pub in Stourbridge, a stone’s throw from both the bus terminus, the railway station and the ring road. A traditional boozer, which has been ’done up’ lovingly, in just the right way. The pub is one of two outlets for the owners’ Craddock Brewery’s products, which equalled 3 handpulled items on my visit (which were good). They have a nice range of bottled beers, and some thoughtful macro and keg offerings, including Freedom Stout and Maissels. A nicely furnished bar out front, with a lounge out back and a small patio/beer garden. Excellent place, which felt friendly, homely and very professional. |
