| Reynolds314 (13), Connecticut | | August 30, 2011 Great place known for its wine prices and selection also is a good beer store. The beer manager Kenny is really helpful and knowledgeable. When he is not around its tough to find someone that knows a thing about beer though. The building is an old warehouse style place with a wall of craft beer. Some rare imports pop up like Struise, De Molen, etc. Good place to stop and check the stock from time to time. | | Ernesto987 (54), Connecticut | | February 23, 2011 I’ve been coming here for years, they have the staples, don’t really have any rare gems and prices are fair. On the way back from Julio’s i like to peek, there are some suprises in stock at times, Pannepot, De Molen, etc. The wine here though is the cheapest and best selection I’ve ever seen. | | Alphadelic (48), Portland, Oregon | | November 29, 2010 Coming from CT this place was CHEAP. I liked it. The array of both micro and macro along with some totally unknown local nano-brews was pretty amazing. They have a great European selection in there too. Snacks and other alcoholic drinks are available in abundance. | | Beershine (540), The Sunshine State, Florida | | May 17, 2009 Very good selection with a few gems. Professional service--the wine guy went through every beer in my cart and checked whether or not he could give me a discount. He didn’t know a lick about beer, which actually made his effort all the more admirable. Very good for this type of store. | | puboflyons (53), Allenstown, New Hampshire | | March 14, 2009 They have several stores in Massachusetts and they advertise frequently. They live up to hype. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it as you drive along Rt. 20. It’s a good sized place with a large variety of macros, micros, independents, and crafts in bottles, cans, and some Opa-Opa and Berkshire growlers. There were a few I had heard of but not seen before. You can split 6-packs but you pay the going rate per bottle. This place also has many wines and other spirits, some cheeses, and snacks for sale. | | MartinT (469), Montreal, Quebec | | November 6, 2007 This store is very close to Old Sturbridge Village, so a stopover is quite easy when visiting the area. Micro and import selections are very good, yet a few quality seasonals and sought-after breweries were missing, even though these can be found at Table and Vine in Springfield, about 30-40 minutes from here. It’s hard to really complain when you go to a store with so many beers to choose from, but there are better stores in Massachusetts (Julio’s is another one, for example). Be careful when you buy singles they sometimes show up as 6-packs on the cash register screen. That happened 3 times during my last visit alone and I had to be alert to avoid getting billed 20$ too many. | | JAF737300 (45), Chicago, Illinois | | July 29, 2007 Huge store for beer lovers. Micro, Macro, and all in between. The great news is they sell single bottles if you desire and they do not gouge the prices for doing so! A MUST VISIT. | | faroeviking (127), , Haiti | | February 7, 2007 Big and bigger. Huge selection of beers though part of them crappy macro ones. Good prices and a selection of micro beers, that I believe must be among the best in the whole state. Heaven for a serious beer drinker! | | maniac (98), Baltimore, Maryland | | November 26, 2006 Right off I84 on thew way to Mass Pike. This store has a huge selection of beer. Only a few real rarities, but more of the New England stuff that I don’t find at home. There were a few stray bottles of Pizza Port, and a few of the Unibroue beers that i’ve not yet been able to obtain. | | hophead75 (83), Largo, Florida | | October 30, 2006 Stopped here on my way back from New Hampshire. Right off highway 84..The selection of craft beer was excellent, a huge wall of beer and can break six packs. Prices very reasonable. I will be back to this store in a few months from now without a doubt. |
