Dan Murphy’s is a chain of bottle shops through out Australia. They are of varying sizes but they’re all pretty much the same. I have one near me which is quite big and always has a great selection. A great combination of international imports, local craft and local crap (if you really want) They usually have different staff who specialise in different areas, like beer, wine, spirits etc.. The beer guy knows his stuff. The good thing about this place though is the price. Most bottles, import or local craft are around $3.50 - $4 which is pretty good. I highly recommend it for an international traveller who wants to catch up on some Aussie craft stuff. Of course locals will more likely go to speciallty stores.
