This place is new, and it appears that they are ready for growth. Right now, they have a modest-but-impressive collection of sixers and 22s, most of which are available elsewhere, but organized nicely here, and with competitive prices. The people working there were very helpful and enthusiastic about their goal to become THE craft beer center of the west side of the city.You can tell that this is going to be a beer-centric store (moreso than the excellent-though-slapdash Brilbecks down the street), with vintage cans, glassware and a huge flavor wheel on the wall. I am excited to see what they can do with it. (APPARENTLY went out of business in Nov. 2011 due to some bad dealings with Living Social. This just opened and I am glad it did. They have a decent selection and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It isn’t the biggest selection but since I only know of 1 other beverage center in the whole greater syracuse area, I will take it. Prices are pretty middle of the road. |
