This WOB always seems to be comfortable to be at. It is never too busy, but is never dead. This allows for a great atmosphere and the ability to really enjoy their fantastic selection of beers.

World of beer has another location neat citrus park mall that I would recommend over this one. The service was not that great when I went - the bartender was too busy chatting with friends to help anyone, and the selection at this location seemed limited to imports and not much else - I would have rather seen a few nice domestic microbrews in the mix.

Reading the review of the others I wonder what happened, I was here about 5 years ago and thought the following of this place: I was pretty amazed about the European (specially Belgian) beers this store got. Nothing new and great, but a lot of the best quality ones were in the shelves! Also a nice selection with American and Canadian beers. The owner is very friendly and has a good knowledge about what he sells and what he wants when he goes to Europe (and visit Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands). Most of the beers are kept in cooling systems, which is very nice because of the warm temperatures Florida has. Some items are a bit pricy, but that’s everywhere where they sell import beers. Overall an ok selection with a nice owner. At least I left here with a smile!

Lets start off with what’s bad about this place because at this point there’s more that’s bad then good. The location is a little hard to find, I suggest more signs. The servers are hot chicks, while that is a plus, they don’t know anything about beer. Throw in the bar tender that night as well. The selection was vast, but not really overly exciting. Price was very reasonable. I would like to have seen a few more taps designated to Florida beers over the ordinary German macros. The facility overall was nice and had a great beer feel. I did not have any food, but its available. Stop if your in the area, but don’t go out of the way with so many better choices in Tampa.

2 minutes from my home. The place is brand new and is pretty nice inside. They have a large selection of beer but nothing earth shattering. Servers could be more knowledgable of beer. Prices are reasonable and they sell mix and match sixers to go at a discount. My main complaint with World of Beer is the crowd they cater to which seems to be the uber douchey frat boy crowd. Most true beer drinkers I know avoid this place like the plague. I will occasionally stop by to grab a beer to go.
