| msante79 (72), Orland Hills, Illinois | | July 25, 2009 [ Updated August 3, 2009 ] Very large warehouse type liquor store. Huge cooler section full of box sixers and bombers. They have 3 door cooler single section that fives 27% discount if you mix a six pack. Large selection of bombers and 750’s from Port/ Lost Abbey, Stone, Boulevard, Brewdog, Russian River,Great Divide, New Belgium Lips of Faith and a ton of other quality local breweries. I picked up a mixed sixer and an Arrogant Bastard Pint glass for $14. Not to bad. Would be a regular is I lived in the area. | beerwhore69 (3), Northglenn, Colorado does not count - explanation | | June 10, 2009 This is not only the best place on the north side of Denver, It’s the only place worth saying you stopped in and got a little tipsy. They do wine and beer tastings on friday and saturday, specials all the time, and a classic car show and wine and mead tasting on June 13 and 14th of 2009. Not maybe the best, but I dare you to find some place else with as much going on. | SelfInebriated (1), , does not count - explanation | | June 10, 2009 First of all this ratman197 guy looks like he is just spamming his uneducated comments on this web site, making his opinion useless. You find a liquor store that is better. The people are awesome there. The Store manager rick will bend over backwards to get you anything and everything you can ask for... if its available in Colorado he’ll get it. Great selection, not everything but hey no one can carry every wine, beer and spirit you know lets be realistic!!! Great place! | | MeisterBrew (14), Cheyenne, Wyoming | | May 17, 2009 Nice and clean. Fairly large selection of beer. Some notables were missing, but I also found a few beers that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Pricing seemed inline with other Colorado stores. Service was fairly non-existent though. | | Jwjeep (10), Rifle, Colorado | | March 29, 2009 If you’re looking for somewhere with almost everything, go here. Good place, absolutely huge! Awesome selection, bigger cold storage than the entirety of most liquor stores. Great selection of macros, micros, locals, etc. They even have a whole aisle of aging/aged beers. They’ll also happily order you anything they don’t already have. I like to stop in when I’m in town and always find something new I haven’t tried yet. | | NachlamSie (209), Tennessee | | February 25, 2009 Holy crap. Pretty much any beer available in the area is here and sold in singles. Prices were just as good as any other store I visited. My main beef is that mega stores with such a vast catalogue generally have old dusty bottles on the shelf. But this place seems to have good rotation. A few things I wanted had a shelf tag, but were sold out. Thankfully I didn’t have the capacity to bring anything back home, so I limited my shopping greatly. Otherwise, I probably would’ve drained my bank account here. This is absolutely worth a drive from Denver if you’re looking for some local beers. | | theisti (114), Leawood, Kansas | | December 22, 2008 [ Updated May 15, 2009 ] Huge mega liquor store, clean, well laid out. Easy to find, about 3 minutes east of I25, 10 minutes north of downtown. They had one longish shelf full of quality imports, and domestic micros. The cooler space for micros and imports was pretty limited, and the selections of what they kept cold were a little odd. Rochefort 10 cold, Blind Pig and Pliny warm, for example. Overall, selection was good and the prices seemed about right. I did not see anyone working the floor looking to help out, though the store is laid out well enough that service is not all that important. Worth the trip, on my visit they had a better selection than Argonaut. | | Illini08 (34), Raleigh, North Carolina | | May 3, 2008 Was here quite a while ago, but what a huge place! Clean, good selection - got some O’dell brews here along with a cool O’dells logo glass. Sold out of Stone stuff and quite a few other items listed on their website though. As barleyPops mentioned, service was non-existent. | | NYHarvey (124), New York, New York | | October 17, 2006 Pdee was nice enough to drive me out to this place two years ago and I never bothered to rate it. Very solid selection with lots of beers in coolers and lots on the shelves. Plenty of stuff (I spent $150 and could have spent a lot more) not availible to me in Florida including many CO and other regional micros not availible in the southeast. Definitely worth a trip. | | barleyPops (58), Quad-Cities, Illinois | | June 29, 2006 This place is huge! And while it is very clean and the selection is pretty good, there were some empty spaces in the coolers and on the shelves. Prior to stopping here I had checked out the TB website. Many of what is listed is NOT available at the store. While I can understand the store not having everything I was hoping to find, what was most bothersome was the service. It took me at least five minutes to find a clerk and he was of no help whatsoever! He proceeds to get another clerk, he too was of no help. My wife later refferred to them as "dumb & dumber"! I was looking for Colorado micros and these guys never once offered to look in the store room or check the computer. Fortunately another customer came over to answer my questions and he was very helpful. I was hoping to just make one liquor stop while in Denver, but ended up going to Applejack’s in Wheat Ridge and found the CO micros I was looking for. |
