Rock café in Tilburg’s main pub area. Large patio with plenty seatings outside, inside is an old run-down bar with some seatings and small stools in front of a lowered bar area, never seen anything like it. Decent selection of draught beers, good selection bottled beers. Best aspect of this bar, besides the good music, are the prices, ranging from €2.50 for a pint of lager to €3.30 for a Rochefort 10. That’s a steal imo. The fellow behing the bar was a bit grumpy, the ladies serving the terrace were very friendly.

Leuke kroeg met terras, crisisbestendige prijzen, aardige bieren en een leuke toog waaraan de lage stoelen op dezelfde hoogte staan als de stoelen rond de tafeltjes. Zodat je niet tegen ruggen aan zit te kijken. De barkeeper staat een treetje lager achter de bar, dus iedereen op hetzelfde niveau. Het geheel kan een likje verf gebruiken, maar dat heeft misschien ook wel zo z’n charme.

Located in a street full of bars in the centre of Tilburg. Old brown bar with a cellar appearantly to be entered be personel behind the bar by lifting up a wooden plate. Great idea and looks old and atmospheric, but than the beer list should be at least somewhat complete. We asked for the beerlist and what did I see, a millennium gueuze for only 10 euro a bottle (appearantly they didn’t have these on the list last year). Of course they didn’t have it! Than I asked for a Goose Island IPA, and after waiting for 5 minutes, they found out that they didn’t have that one either. Ok than an Oud Beersel Gueuze... They didn’t find that as well, but the bartender came with a Cantillon Gueuze, Fond Gueuze and a Boon Mariage Parfait. So the beer list is not really taken care of... Bartender kept smiling and service is ok. Guinness and other draft beers are extremely cheap! Guess this is one of the best places in Tilburg but not a place to go specially to Tilburg for.

This place has a great collection of (especially Belgian but worldwide) beers, not like anywhere to be found in the Netherlands. The beer loving owneer has them stored in his own beer cellar under the bar. On tap are always the most amazing things like De Molen, Snab IJsbok, Flying Dog... And all the beers are really really cheap! A great small place with love for beer!
