Visit on work trip to Tokyo. Selection big enough and changes frequently (even through an evening), mix of mostly Japanese and US beers, tasty pizza, chaps behind the bar know what’s going on, locals are friendly. Own beer coming soon i hear, good luck!

Taken here care of TimE and propably the most enjoyable bar so far in Tokyo. Helped by the arrival of Chewy, Tim Maloney and a few others. However, the 15 tap beer list was excellent and the best line up so far. Beer quality also spot on and had several of the best beers I’ve had on the trip so far including Aqula Kiwi IPA, Aqula Kiwi Weizen, Birra Del Borgo Re Ale Extra and a special mention for the awesome pizzas which I will be returning for soon. Split over three or four levels this is clearly a place where they take beer and food seriously, and it shows in the level of attention to detail.

Probably the best Pizza’s I’ve ever had. Staff were friendly and spoke English well enough, or if the owners are there they are native English speakers. Great range of beers of tap, so good I was there 3 times over my holiday. They plan on brewing their own beer on site soon, I had one of the beers that Baird make for them, and it was amazing. Great location, great bar.

Great friendly neighborhood place with an impressive rotating selection of excellent beer. Pints around 1,000, and the only deep dish pizza around (also very affordable).

Good little place that distinguishes itself with the chicago style pizzas, which are very moreish. 5 floors of rapildy ascending space, with little room on each level. 15 beers on tap, served in good condition. Top little hide out in Kanda.

This place will be a brewpub by early next year. Now it’s just a great place to get a really tasty pizza and choose from 15 beers, all top stuff and well-selected. The guys who run it are American, but long-time part of the beer scene in Japan. Already a top destination in Tokyo; once the get to brewing, they just may have a huge impact on craft brewing in Japan. Hope so.

OK, so I will say up front that I know the guys that run this place. Still, how can you argue with 15 rotating taps and delicious Chicago style deep dish pizza in Japan? Taps are mainly Japanese with some well selected foreign brews. Staff speak English, multi-level seating, reasonable prices for Tokyo. Seriously great place. Once this place starts serving their own beer, which they hope happens by the end of this year, this place will be even more amazing. Its doesn’t have the depth of some tap lists around town, but given its convenient location to Kanda station and solid selection, it certainly should be on most people’s list of places to go.
