Was the only craft beer bar close enough to visit during a short business trip to Tokyo so Iím unable to compare to others in Japan. That said, I enjoyed the experience. The venue was cozy, the staff attentive, and the beer selection interesting. Prices didnít strike me as unreasonable but that is in comparison to New Zealand - where they are seriously deranged.

After reading the reviews here I wasnít planing to stop by but since I was walking past it on my way to iBrew I popped in. I was happy I did as they had the Swan Lake Masaji Big Daddy Imperial Red Ale I had been trying to track down. I got a take out glass for 600 yen, yeah prices are high the selection was ok, the atmosphere was classy pub-brass, wood polished until it shone that sort of thing. Friendly staff who are familiar with their beer. Plus they seem to take good care of their beer. Ok, now if they dropped prices to a more reasonable level youíd start seeing a lot more 60-70+ point ratings.

Gotta agree with Jonno here for the most part. I like the look of the place, but the prices are ridiculous, especially for the strong beers. 30 taps but less than 20 beers on, so that should improve, but with prices everywhere in Tokyo seeming to come down, this place seems to be trying to milk as much as possible. Itís their own beer, for chrissakes!

Thereís not much to recommend here. One of the more expensive places in Tokyo, minimal atmosphere, half the beers they produce not even on tap and a 300 yen cover charge for a few bread sticks. 900 yen for 150ml of strong beers and more for guest beers. Swan lake beers are easily available elsewhere, at generally lower prices. Why bother?

Nice new Swan Lake Tokyo brewery tap house. Quite small, so was a bit squeezed on the first night open. Seating for about 30, and not really any standing room. Prices for the Swan Lake beers are pretty good, 550 yen for 250ml and 900 for 450ml. Stronger beers are much more expensive and much too expensive to consider. Good selection of Japanese micro guests, but more expensive than the Swan Lake stuff, and bit higher than regular Tokyo prices. Couple of real ale handpumps too. Have re-rated as I think I was a little bit overexcited by moving to Tokyo and a bit green on pricing. Itís pricy, and you can get their own beers cheaper in other places which is a bit ridiculous.
