72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 14/20
2015-01-08. Decor is sort of upscale casual if that means anything. Itís nice but in that modern high end of the mid-range chain restaurant kind of way. Servers were friendly, it was fairly quiet early on a Thursday evening until a large group showed up. Awesome views of the lake, the patio must be packed in the summer, we were told it holds almost 200 people? Tap list is a mixed bag ranging from Rolling rock to a pretty decent selection of Ontario micros. We had Collective Arts Rhyme and Reason and Libery 504 Pale Ale today. Food was pretty meh. Deal today was $2 off appetizers and draft beers which made the prices a bit more reasonable but we still paid almost $50 for two beers, and three apps. Tacos were tasty but portion seemed small, nachos were okay but smallish for the price, meat on the board feels a bit meh, like itís perhaps not super fresh. The bacon and deviled eggs were the highlight for me. Overall it was just okay. I wouldnít make a point of coming back but if in the neighbourhood itís not a bad choice for a pint.

When Iíve visited: A couple times since moving to Toronto.
What Iíve had: Muskoka Mad Tom IPA on tap, Southern Tier IPA in bottle, other draft beers, Lake Erie pickerel, Three Little Pigs flatbread, Urban Cobb Salad, white wine for my better half.
What I like: Tasty food, affable service, lots of space between tables, cozy booths, reasonable prices, convenient location for us since we live on the waterfront, a good restaurant overall.
What I dislike: Theyíve become much less beer-focused over the last year or so as ATG was initially one of the best craft beer restos in the city but is now just average, beer menu is no longer available on the website, only about 6 drafts worth drinking now, bottle list has shrunk as well, hours are quite limited, we can only hope that the beer selection doesnít decline any further.
Would I go back? For a meal and some beers, yes. But, unlike when they first opened, I wouldnít stay here for after-dinner drinks.
Overall Rating: 68

Big bright space in the Corus building down by the lake. High ceilinged and fairly upscale looking inside with a gorgeous outdoor patio. It was too cold to take advantage of on the day we were in, but it would be a fantastic spot to kill a day. The food is good if ever so slightly overpriced. The beer however is well priced for Toronto. Not a ton of seasonals or much of a rotating selection, but itís a pretty nice spot. The service was efficient and friendly. Canít complain about much here.

Havenít been there in a year, and we kind of forgot how interesting the beer selection is. Itís not a huge list of taps or bottles, but it has a huge range for its size. People who get dragged here and donít actually like beer can have a Bud Light Lime or a Rolling Rock, while beer fans can have La Trappe Tripel or Weihenstephaner Kristall on tap, or Rochefort 10 or Karmaliet Tripel or Panil Barriquee or Westvleteren 12 (!!) in he bottle. Add that to one of the very past patios in all of Toronto and some decent food, and itís well worth taking the long stroll under the Gardiner.
