August 16, 2009 Service is great, food is better and the beer is not bad. For a place like this that brews all there own beer there really isn’t anywhere better in Toronto except for maybe Mill St. |

July 3, 2009 Not sure why everybody is complaining about the pub. The service was great, the beer was excellent and the atmosphere couldn’t be any better. I’d recommend it to anyone. |

June 13, 2009 This Brewpub is unnecessarily getting a bad rap. The beer is very good, the backyard patio is fantastic (and rare for that area of Toronto) and the food is definitely above average. I’ve had bad service there before, but I’ve also had good service on other days. |

April 19, 2009 Granite is a nice pub; the staff are friendly and mature (not a lot of kids working part time for university). Beer is classic English style and as far as I can say (having been in the UK about 8 times) surpasses the form. The Dry Hopped ESB is the best, and the Stout is very nice. My best friends used to live around the corner, and it was nice to be a local and regular. But it’s only about a 10 minute walk from the subway station in a safe neighbourhood, and you probably need the exercise. The food is decent, above average pub food. They have a wall of books and games in the front section, so it can make for a fun evening with a group of friends pouring over 20 year old Trivial Pursuit questions. Believe me. They also have a store next door where you can take away some of the lovely growlers. A rarity in Ontario. |

March 27, 2009 I like this place for their good British style ales and the week-end brunch. Its a bit out of the way (Eglinton Station) and in a small strip mall, and it does look like a Friendly’s the back, but service is good. |

February 22, 2009 Went for lunch. The beer selection is good, but the beer itself is o.k..The service was friendly. This place looks like an English pud with a pub menu. The overall look is not that appealing. The customers look like regulars from around. I am glad I went to this place, with the other very good choices you have in Toronto I will not be going back. |

September 20, 2008 Scratching my head about Rastacouere’s Miami-like beach architecture reference, I must have missed something...A bit of an old-school tavern/watering hole ambiance is slightly depressing and not the most engaging ’hood, but thankfully there is a patio. I am ga-ga for their English-style real ales, all of which were tasting supremely good and more-ish. |

August 28, 2008 Rather disappointing brewpub experience where the very large English inspired interior was more authentic than the actual beers, though the bitter was a fine example. Not very inviting neighborhood with Miami-like beach architecture though the beach ain’t anywhere close. The patio does not feel all too inviting. The waitress was completely inefficient, being slow and overwhelmed with the very little customers. I’ve been once and don’t expect to come back on my next Toronto visit. |

August 25, 2008 kinda run-down looking, the patio was nice. beer selection was minimal but all of the granite brews are priced well. the food was ok but not the highlight. actually i cant think of a highlight. everthing was just mediocure. not a bad place to go pick up some ratings. |

August 23, 2008 Nice enough pub, authentic feeling, simple. Good beer, several to choose from. I really liked the Peculiar, the stout, the bitter. Good food. Good, friendly service, definitely a place to stop in Toronto. |
