Located in the rather busy Carlton St., this venue is a rather spacious but cozy pub. The selection is quite decent, the 15+ taps mostly featuring craft beer from Ontario. Bottled beer is mostly local and good, too, although an odd European macro can make its way there, too. Despite the name, no stouts in the summer, except for Murphy’s. The food is nicely served and very tasty. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. Will gladly be back one day.

This was a nice retreat from the downpour outside. Pleasant carpeted pub with comfortable leather chairs, dark wooden bar and fireplace. It’s not the most exciting draft list but I settled with a Collective Arts beer that was very nice. Staff were friendly and there was a nice vibe with a good crowd of peeps chatting at the bar and tables of diners. Whilst it’s a good neighbourhood spot for a beer, it’s not really close to any other beer places and unless you happen to be out this way it can be easily skipped on a Toronto visit.

Popped in here recently to check it out - a pretty decent selection of beer with a lot of Ontario micros represented. Has a well-warn sort of pub feel with a cozy seating area up front and a couple of fairly large seating areas upstairs. A fairly small bar in the center of the pub. Friendly service - you could do worse than kill some time in here.

Pleasantly surprised by this cozy pub. Friendly staff, good tap selection and even more so bottle selection.

Down the street from our new office. Fairly roomy and interestingly designed place. We as many others, decided to fill up the patio. A pretty good Ontario micro tap list and the bottle selection was getting to bottles hard to find elsewhere from the same breweries. Would like better and appropriate glassware. Colleagues like the food though a bit pricey.

A good find on St. Paddy’s day. Just wandered into this place from a party and was surprised by the huge beer menu. Lots of Ontario craft beers on tap and bottle including some that you don’t see everywhere, Sawdust City, Nickel Brook, Hawaiian Pale, Lakes of Muskoka, Trois Mosquetiers. A few imports as well. Prices are a little high, but the vibe in the place is good.
