A favorite hangout when I still lived in Turku. Great ambiance especially during those dark and cold winter evenings and nights and even more especially during christmas. Service is very friendly though can be a bit slow when it gets crowded and they’re not that well versed with beers, at least not all of them. Selection is alright, not that many different beers there, but they do get some rarer ones sometimes. A bit pricey in Turku terms, but not that steep in comparison to Helsinki.

This was right next door to my hotel, but I ended up going there only once as my friends weren’t too keen on the prices here. Cool interior, working wi-fi, good service. As Phil said - not really a ticker place, though they do have two of their own beers brewed by Vakka-Suomen now (probably relabeled stuff but still). Not the best place in town but worth visiting.

Nice old fashioned bar interior. OK bottle selection. No surprises on taps. All right prices. Quite quiet on Wednesday afternoon. Timothy Taylor Landlord on bottles.

A rather nice place, where I’ve spent many evenings. Really friendly staff most of the times, who know much about the beers they sell. I visited it first very close to when they opened, and until now the selection has gone a bit smaller. But one good thing that I’ve noted most of the times when I have visited, they pretty much cover most beer styles.

Quite near the railway station - pop in here rather than the railway cafe for your last drink. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere, comfortable seating - good for lounging. Slightly relaxed attitude to smoking, despite the letter of the law - smokers may huddle one end as long as they don’t disturb others. Friendly staff. Not a ticker place, but a good range of high quality beers. (Koff Porter draught, for example.) Does have delicacy snack plates, but I’ve not eaten there.
