Looks just like a Total Wine elsewhere with the great selection and singles they all normally have. I was really suprised to see some of the beers that get out here now. Lots of east coast and midwest stuff you dont expect. Prices are decent

I went to Whole Foods so I figured I would stop here as well as it’s just back on the other side of the 5. Large warehouse type store, tons of liquor and wine to go along with two aisles of beer. Pretty good selection of six-packs on one aisle, but the singles aisle is where this place really shines. I ended up getting way more than I anticipated buying, Black Butte XXI, Consecration, Lips of Faith Biere De Mars, Ten Fidy, Victory Storm King, and another Old Rasputin XII. Besides having a pretty impressive selection, the prices here are great. The Consecration was $19 and the OR XII was $18.50, for example. They also had Mirror Mirror for $10. While they do have a great selection and good prices, the service was definitely lacking. I do not really need much when it comes to buying beer, but the only human interaction I had in the store was answering a question of a family that was also in the beer aisle and then when paying for my items.

Awesome bottle shop. Much better than Brea location. Tons and tons of single. Plenty of Russian River, Deschutes, Marin, Stone, and other regional brews. Must stop if in the area.

Best selection that I have found in the area. Pretty good value. Build your own six packs. I like that I can try singles of beers that are sold in 4-6 packs usually. They also do beer tasting classes but I have never gone to one. Staff is helpful and friendly. Set up nicer and with more selection than BevMo.

Staff is pretty good. Mostly a wine store, but great selection of beer and various alcohols. The staff is always willing to ask questions if they do not know the answer to, and still willing to learn. The staff really knows their wine and tries to get a great selection of beer. Asking about specific beers can get a special order if you are really nice.

Pretty nice place. A step up from BevMo with clean, nicely laid out racks, mostly wine, but a good selection of beers. Much more diverse than BevMo. One of my new favorite places.

Updated rating April 15 - falling in love with this place. Better prices and selection than BevMo. Staff is very helpful if you are unsure as to what you want. Outside of Hi Time Wines, this is the place to go in the OC for beer.

Good selection of beers. Singles are available. There is stuff here that BevMo and Hi-Times does NOT get. And their prices may be a little to a whole lot cheaper. Worth the stop if you are in the area. They have a whole lot of stuff I haven’t tasted. Might be the best beer store in the area.

The latest place for Orange County beer geeks to shop. Very good selection of Orange and San Diego county brews. Huge, clean, upscale store with very reasonable prices for the area. I hit this place first, then run down to Hi Time.

Sought this place out after seeing the consistently high reviews here at RB. It did not disappoint! Like Bevmo, this is a warehouse like environment, but a bit more upscale. They also had a free wine tasting while I was there, so I stopped by to indulge, don’t mind if I do. Another plus: the beer selection is not cast aside in some far removed corner like in most places, but actually has its own two aisles with proper labels. The selection featured most of the good stuff from SD and LA region, along with some favorites from Colorado (Lips of Faith series and OB). The thing that I loved most about Total Wine was its pricing. Everything, and I mean everything was priced less than anywhere else in Los Angeles. And they sold singles! I agree completely that this is like a souped up Bevmo, and if you are in the market for buying good beer cheap, this is your place in OC.

Huge store with a nice beer selection and some of the best prices anywhere. Warehouse style setup with plenty of singles available as well as some harder to find beers like Brandy Barrel Angels Share ($26/750ml). Not much of the beer was kept refrigerated, so I wondered a bit about some of the freshness of the beer, but if their turnaround is high enough it shouldn’t be a problem. Definitely worth stopping in if you are nearby.
