I’m not as enamored with Whole Foods as the rest of Southern California, perhaps because I had a slew of them near be when I lived in the bay area. For whatever reason, this location is the best one I’ve come across. A lot of the things that I can’t get at Hi-Time are still around here. I guess maybe they have more purchasing power. Also, the beer buyer is very knowledgeable and seems to be around every day. Wish I could remember his name. I’ll fill it in later.

What more do you need to know? This is a Whole Foods that has lots of beer. The best part is that they have beer on tap for enjoyment with barbeque. Also, the selections of local beers and Belgians is pretty darn decent. I don’t remember buying anything here, as they had slightly higher prices than the nearby Total Wine. But, still it’s Whole Foods.

Dropped by and was surprised of the collection. Lot’s of gems from Europe as well as Canada and US. Picked up some Stone brews like Double Bastard. There was a wine bar inside. Can’t say about service as I didn’t talk to anyone, except the cashier who seemed to dig belgian beers!

This is a brand new market of this chain. It’s street address doesn’t show up oon a lot of the mapping sites, but it’s on the corner of Jamboree and Barrance, on what used to be the Marine Helicopter Base. Great bottle selections of micros and Belgians, along with a few on tap. Right now St. Bernardus Abt 12 is on tap... This supermarket has lots of places inside that prepare food, so you can eat, have one on draft and take some home.
