review of Horsforth branch. decent selection of British ale, small foreign selection and Brewdog. always has a 4 for £5.50 on most bottles.

Not my favourite supermarket to get beer from, the selection is not the best and seems to concentrate mainly on mass-market pale lagers along with British ales. Prices tended to to average although there is rarely a decent promotion on single bottles. Most of the international range can also be picked up easily elsewhere.

A decent supermarket to score some brews. Selection is OK, prices are pretty cheap. Food selection, too, is alright and cheap. They usually have some seasonal beers. Not worth going out of your way to visit, but good if you’re in the area and in a pinch.

This supermarket is located above the stables of the famous Camden Market. Been here a while back and enjoyed the selection of beers. Lots of British beers that I didn’t know, and just a too small bag to take ’m all. Don’t know if it changed a lot, but back than absolutely worth a visit! Hope it’s the same today!

OK it is just a bog standard supermarket but it does have the best selection of bottled ales in the town. The only place to go for a carry out.

This is a UK wide supermarket chain that has several stores in Edinburgh. It has the best selection of the main supermarkets. A reasonably wide rage of Brittish Real Ale brewers, lotsof macros and a small foreign section. Your not likly to find much exciting here but if your new to UK beers this will give you a good selections, with many bottled versions of the clasic brittish ales.
