Just a few minutes away from brewery creek which is probably a better store, Firefly is nevertheless worth a visit if you can spare the time. Indeed, the selection is of course mostly similar, but there are quite a few complements. In fact, the BC selection I believe was greater at Firefly than Brewery Creek. When you enter, you’re in a cleanly laid out, spacey, modern wine store with an aisle of beer on the right. Make sure to step into the walk-in cooler at the rear as this is where 90% of the beers are stocked. It is very cold in there and makes for a weird experience unless you have a winter coat as you don’t feel like hanging there for too long, yet there’s a few hundred bottles to browse through. We did not interact much with the staff, but they seemed professional enough.

This is a great store for beers from all over the world and craft beers in particular. The majority of the selection is in a walk-in cold store in the back and this is very cold. Make sure you wear a fleece or something more than just a shirt because you’ll want to spend as much time in there as possible. This is definately a store I will return to.

This is an awesome beer store. Hands down my favorite in the city.

Nice, clean store in the bottom of a hotel. Friendly staff, well organized, good selection. Walk in cooler was packed with mostly craft beer. Close to the Canada Line, which is convenient.

Spent quite some time in the beer cooler at Firefly choosing some beers. They have a good selection with a reasonable representation from around the world. I was happy to see some good Mikkeller brews there! Seemed somewhat pricey for the imported stuff but this is BC after all! I found the service somewhat indifferent when I was there, the cashier seemed somewhat "inconvenienced" when I wanted to purchase and made no effort at conversation. Firefly seems a little more focused on wine rather than beer as far as events and promotions go.

One very good place; as usual for the best places in Vancouver, it shares 95% of the beers with the other shops, but there are a couple of good extras here, and there are more beers than at the Maple Ridge location (don’t forget to check the walk-in cooler). Modern looking wine shop. Service doesn’t try to make you feel comfortable.

Not as good a selection as Brewer Creek, but still worth picking up some different choices. A large cooler room. Prices on average were higher than Brewery Creek, noticeably consistent in this regard. Some high quality stuff. Service was OK. Fancy laid out.

Another fantastic beer store. Staff are friendly and great; I’ve pestered them with many a question about hard to find beers and have received great information. Selection is nice and the prices are decent; fantastic when you see beer on sale!

Overall the store is very well set up. The have an excellent beer & wine display in the proper store and a good assortment in the walk-in cooler. Beer selection is second place in Vancouver
