Visited Sunday 24. May 2015. The usual Bishops Arms feel: Bolt on English pub interior with dimmed music and a mixture of micro and macro choices on tap. Usual pub grub. Had the burger which were fine. Tap selection was okay, English and Czech beers - all renown classics plus Mikkeller, local micro brew and To Øl for example. Didn’t check for bottle selection. Nice patio outside where you can enjoy the historic city centre and catch some afternoon sun. Will be back when touring Småland.

Visited 2013-10-05, a Saturday - extremly crowed - might be because of the October festival. A 10 man big brass band (bumba bumba), in german dresses and blond wigs. German food and loads of german October beers (I’m not the biggest fan of those). Friendly staff, seems to have a good a selection on craft beer on bottles. In the city center, easy to access on fot. When checking other medias, seems to be the best place in Växjö for beers...

A rather large BA located near the main entrance to the cathedral, and within a few minutes’ walk from the railway station in Växjö. Beers from Evil Twin, Omnipollo, Mikkeller, Dugges and others on tap in addition to a decent and interesting bottle selection of craft beers. A cosy and friendly place with clean toilets and a very nice library room, not forgetting a lovely patio outside. My food, Linguini pasta, was just delicious and so were the beers from Epic and Omnipollo. The service was irreproachable; friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Lots of different kinds of people on a Tuesday early evening, but not crowded. In fact, one of the best Bishops Arms I have been to (visited 25.06.2013).

Best beer place in Växjö. Standard selection of English Ales and industial taps plus 3 "Micro" taps and nice selection of bottled beers.
