Nice ambiance (it is located on a suggestive canal) and awesome selection of craft beers from all over the world. Normally Aldo is a bit grouchy, but he actually likes to talk with beer enthusiasts. Wonderful place, must stop by every time I go to Venice .

Small, inconspicuous bar on the sidelines of Venice. Beer selection is vaguely high. With Italian craft beers are present mainly beer from the brewery Birrificio del Ducato and Birrificio Toccalmatto. The interior of a typical pub, in the background heavy metal music. In summary, a well-stocked pub but not amazing.

Tantissime birre in bottiglia! Ma molto trascurato come locale... :( alle donne sconsiglio di entrare in bagno!

It is on a main street with many restaurants (but not shops) relatively close to train station (10 min walk).
Not much on tap but extremely impressive bottle selection. Got an italian IPA (thinking fresh) that was not very good. My wife got a Lindemann’s Framboise (sweet tooth). On par with Il Santo Bevitore (but very different).

Very likely the best (and probably only) selection of craft in Venice. It’s located in a very non-touristy section of Venice; exit the waterbus at the Casino, and it’s a 3-4 minute walk. Inside the owner, Aldo, mans the bar. Doesn’t speak English, but is friendly to non-Italian speakers. The coolers in the back hold at least 130-140 different beers, majority Italian craft. Cheap prices, proper glassware, board games in the side room. Friendly locals willing to chat up non-regulars.

Ok, map is now fixed. Visited here as it was close to our hotel. I did not really sit down to drink or eat anything, I just went in to pickup beers in the morning. Found about 20 Italian beers, and about another 25 international ones. Friendly service, and with the quantity I bought on two occasions I got a much appreciated discount both times. Cannot complain. Not much action in Venezia on the beer front, but this is a nice escape from the tourist hell. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

Da Aldo is the best place to drink quality beer in Venice. At least 100 beers from around the world, all bottled. Serves a reasonable range of belgian and bavarian beers. Usually Anchor beers and some English and scottish microbrews. Also has Coopers. Aldo even speaks a bit of english! Be careful during flooding - the water seeps up from inside the bar. For selection and location Aldo’s is much better than the other two options listed for Venice.
