I’ve been there some 15 years ago, and theplace was like a ruine. Visited again some weeks ago. A young man gladly sold be some beers. Some beers from tap, some from the bottle. Nothing special. Place looks good, well renovated. Prices are OK. Not worth a detour, but when in the neighborhood good enough for a quick stop.

Recommended when on holiday nearby or just cycling in the neighbourhood. Not a place to visit for the extreem-beer hunters. Decent selection for the standard Dutch-I-only-drink-pilseners-people, but nothing for the more experienced taster. Couple of Belgian and Dutch beers on draught and on bottle. Large place, lots of seats inside as well as out and easy to find.

Guess the place is well renovated, as the flyers say they were brewing beer about 3 centuries ago, as well.
Very clean and large interior with many different places. Though the interior Is a bit flashy it is absolutely functional, with good space and good seats.
A large plate on top of the wall on the right side shows their bottle list. Nothing spectacular, but with a decent (mostly) Belgian beer selection.
About 10 taps with I guess (didn’t ask it) some like 4 taps that changes… Might be 5 but I guess they had some regular pilsners from the tap, so not sure.
Prices are normal. Didn’t have any meal, though it all sounded good and prices seemed to be quite normal.
Had a cheese plate, some Dutch “bitterballen” and their local thick brown bread. All was very tasty and again in the normal price range.
They got both the Beerze Draught and bottle and I was told the brewer is busy on another beer.
He also brews somewhere else but wants to start brewing in this place again, so I guess it’ll become a quite atmospheric brewpub and when lucky with some more nice beers to taste.
The service is friendly and they’re in for a chat. On top of it all I got a free beer. And if you ask they got some beers not on the list, well, when I was there, they had some.
Not that special to drive to, but when in the neighborhood, it is sure nice to sit on the terrace (with good weather) and watch the people bike through the village when drinking a beer and have some of the local bread with cheese. I guess this place can only grow and I am looking forward to it.
