| fiulijn (273), Como, Italy | | August 26, 2011 Looking like any liquor store around, at least they have many Spinnakers beers, maybe Moon Under Water too, and a decent offer of Ice Ciders, Ciders and Meads. | | jonas (17), Garching b. München, Germany | | September 8, 2010 Very pleasant little shop with a nice selection of canadian, US and good international beers. You can pick up wifi from a nearby Starbucks in the shop which makes it easy to check Ratebeer. | | Enniskillen (66), Salinas, California | | July 9, 2008 Good stuff that I can’t get in Washington. Good selection (as far as I know) of local beer... About 7-8 Phillips brews. | | IrishBoy (82), Bakersfield, California | | July 7, 2008 Visited woth Joss, Enniskillen, and CapFlu. Good selection of local Canadian bottles, wish I had brought more cash to buy some of the local ciders! | | beercollector (18), Astoria, Oregon | | September 15, 2007 Visited them after a meal at the Spinnakers Brew Pub. Picked up 4 750 ml of single malts and the Elgood’s Captain Vancouver 250th Anniversary Ale. As a citizen of Fort George. I felt it important to test this brew. If it were not for John Jacob Astor, Captain Robert Gray, and Capt. Vancouver the West Coast beer scene may not have happened?
| | presario (135), Stampede City, Alberta | | September 10, 2007 Went there after GCBF. After talking to the guy at the till it sounded like exhibitors had given him a better selection of beers to try than they had for sale. BC may have more brew pubs but I will take Willow Park Liquor over any other store I have been to in Canada! | | Nate (246), Indiana, Pennsylvania | | July 17, 2007 Mediocre liquor store with decent wine selection and a few beers. Not really that impressive, and I stopped only on the off chance that I might find faragoule (thyme liqueur). | | mgermani (15), Vancouver, British Columbia | | July 4, 2007 [ Updated June 6, 2008 ] Very little selection - they had a decent amount of local beer and a smattering of Belgian beers, but almost no British beers. They were really helpful, and managed to get rid of a customer who was drunk and trying to strike up conversation with my poor wife. Beware, though, they charge a premium on Spinnakers beers - get a better selection of Spinnakers stuff for up to 65 cents cheaper per bottle at the brewpub itself, only a 5-minute walk away. | | CapFlu (185), Victoria, British Columbia | | August 10, 2006 A decent selection - very impressed with the Alaskan and Elysian beers as I haven’t seen them elsewhere in the province. I know Paul Hadfield had some hand in the establishment of the Elysian (Seattle) so its nice to seen the connection is still there. | | Crit (132), New Westminster, British Columbia | | June 14, 2006 [ Updated September 14, 2008 ] Found some interesting imports I haven’t seen in a while, and even got a couple of free glasses |
