Franchise of Ammersin Beer Lovers in Gumpendorfer Straße with nearly the sam beers, but smaler sortiment (i have the feeling, that this shop has more austrian beers than the other one), nice staff, one refrigerator for fresh beer. good variety of american and british beers the shop was enlarged in 2016 and now offers also wine and spirits

Really good beer store which was fortunately near our hotel. Good combination of Austrian and imported beers. Danish, US, UK, Belgian, Dutch some of them not to be seen in places closer to Zagreb. Prices were good, of course some of the exotic stuff is bit pricy. Service was good, and the place is worth visiting especially if you’re nearby.

After visiting AmmersinO I decided to check out this shop because of the positive reviews and because it’s easier to get to from the city center. While it had a really commendable selection of international beers, I felt like the Austrian beer section was better at AmmersinO. One worker was extremely helpful (dude with beard, keepin on keepin on), while the others were quite lethargic. Good prices. Worth visiting to pick up bottles, but no place to sit or drink, strictly getranke.

Huge selection of local but also international beers in this shop. I heeded advice presented here and it payed off - several beers were past their BBD or simply too old. Otherwise the prices are reasonable on most beers and the selection beats any downsides. I was not able to get a wifi password despite wifi being there.

Quite big shop with nice selection of international and Austrian beers. Not the cheapest one, some beers are old as stated below, but overall worth for a visit.I you have just pay attention what you buy. easily accessible from city center. Recommended place.

This is my favorite beer shop in Vienna. During the last half year they added a huge selection of international craft beer. Their austrian selection is only semi interesting though. Bierzauberei and Forstner are the more interesting things. If you are interested in Austrian brews, probably Beer Store Vienna or Malefitz are better options for you. But the international selection is top notch. This Ammersin store is also the quickest to reach form the city center. As Saeglopur already mentioned, they have some problems with shelf sitters though, so watch those dates. Prices are decent for Vienna. Overall recommended.

The beer selection here has grown so much in the last year! One year ago I preferred the AmmersinO, but the Magazin 5 is now my favourite choice, as they have much more room and therefore a bigger selection meanwhile.

Everytime I visit, there are new, interesting beers from Europe and the US, some really world class (AleSmith Speedway Stout for example or a vast Mikkeller selection). The only downside is that not all imports are fresh, but it seems that they are working on this (for example they have the fresh Christmas Ale from Anchor and lots of other fresh international christmas ales on a seperate shelf). Some imports are also quite expensive, especially US beers and Mikkeller.

Overall this has evolved to the best bottle shop in Vienna!

A store for wine, beer, liquors and others. They have a (not too interesting) selection of Austrian beers and since a few month very interesting beers from BrewDog, Mikkeller, Denmark, Netherlands, etc. ! Also a smaller selection from Belgium, England and some exotic countries.
