The selection here rivals the Alexandria location and is complete with growler fills. The staff is typically nearby and ready to help. This is a good place to stop if you are nearby and thirsty.

really nice Whole Foods location in NoVa. Small but great selection of craftbeer - not quite what it used to be, but still very good. They have the typical Belgians followed by many local VA / MD stuff. Also stock The Bruery (including Coton, Cuir), Utopias (when released), the big line of Avery, Bear Republic, some Firestone, Founders, Victory, Troegs, Weyerbacher, etc... the beer guy I spoke with was knowledgable. Some singles are available. They also have a few taps now for growler fills.

Not a huge beer selection, and one with an interesting architectural feature in the middle, but they certainly do well with the space. One of the better beer selections at a Whole Foods, with lots of less common beers and a well rounded selection of American micros. This location rivals Short Pump and Fair Lakes for the best bottle beer selection at a Whole Foods in Virginia. Other than that, ambience is nice enough... typical urban WFM. Parking abjectly sucks, and traffic flow is astoundingly horrific. But that’s what you get in that part of the state.

Pretty good selection for a grocery store, but not too impressive for a specialty store.

I stopped in here not expecting much at all, and was pleasantly surprised with what I found. One of the best stores I have found in Northern VA so far. A good selection of cool and warm beer, which is different from other Whole Foods I have seen that have almost exclusively cool beer. Some of the bottles here I have not seen at any other places, including Norms, other Whole Foods, and Total Wine. Staff is friendly and the beer buyer seems to know his stuff. Prices are reasonable (although no mixed 6 pack discount is a disappointment). The ambiance isnt bad..about as good as you can get for a supermarket. Overall definitely worth stopping at.

Went there on a visit to Vienna (Tysons corner) for business. Overall, the selection was good, picked up some new finds plus some old favorites. Made the monotony of the trip bearable. Picked up about 8 good 750ml’s along with a Unibroue I was looking for for a while. The store clerk was very helpful, although he didn’t know much about wine. (I lived in No Cal for a few years so my Napa/Sonoma knowledge is not too shabby). Overall though, made me happy...enough.

I went to look for beers here yesterday and I was somewhat disappointed with their selection. They had Troegs, but none of those bombers and I didn’t see any rare breweries such as Russian River (which has been reported to be in stock there in the past)

Another douche bag central on Saturdays. Have fun trying to dodge all the douches on 123 trying to get to the driveway. Beer selection is good. I used to get 12oz Rogue IMP Stout bottles aged 2 years until they ran out. Good selection of bombers but lately they have not been keeping up with what Jim D started. Recommend getting there before 11am on Saturday to get away from the traffic surrounding it.

Used to be the bomb when Jim worked there. But, the selection has gone downhill severely since he left. Norms now has the better selection, if you want to drive out there, that is.

Living on the Westcoast I see Beer at Whole Foods all the time. The Whole Foods in San Diego have decent selections but this one takes the cake. A whole half row in the market, half shelves half refrigerated. This selection was really pretty astounding. Lots of great things similar to Norm’s down the road, but also all 3 high end 12ozers from DFH Extra, WWS and 120. Also a pretty nice selection from around the country and the globe, not to mention some glassware and collectors boxes. My dad was also pretty impressed with their wine selection.
