Another Whole Foods, with a great selection. Man these guys do it right. Lots and lots of singles (although none in cans) cooled, and well stored. Good stuff.

Pretty decent selection for a grocery store, they had a couple ciders I hadn’t seen before, and the stone mint stout. Almost all the singles are in the fridge, which is a big plus. While the parking is free, there are a bunch of cabs taking up spots, which makes finding a spot a challenge. Overall, one of the better whole foods.

Unusual for DC this place has free parking on the roof. Not a big selection but it’s packed without quality. Thanks to DC’s weird laws they have stuff you can’t get elsewhere. Picked up the stone’s colloboration Mint Stout I haven’t seen anywhere else. And unusual for who,e foods they actually had a guy in the section assisting people. Pretty solid find.

They have put in a cafe with beer and wine. Sample racks and really unique and nice beers. Most people dont even seem to find it. At te end of an aisle so not ggreat ambiance but friendly and informed. Plenty of foods at their deli.

I was walking back to my hotel from Birch & Barley and this place was still open. Stopped in on a whim. I am amazed at the low scores given the selection I saw. There were a lot of impressive beers in the coolers, and I found a couple of Cantillons that I would consider rare in my neck of the woods.

Did quite a bit of bottle shopping here. Very nice selection of a lot of stuff from all over. Beers aren’t cheap but decently priced. Staff is helpful for logistical issues ;) Parking is free as well which is a plus.

Very good selection of beers. It’s a little bit pricey, but nothing unusual for DC. No idea what to put on the service -- I’ve been there many times but never been asked if I needed help (and I haven’t asked for any assistance).

I stop in this place literally every day on my way to work. One of the better selections in DC, with Stillwater bottles, Bells, Founders, DC Brau, etc. etc. I’ve bought sought after bottles there such as King Henry, BCS, Firestone XV, Parabola and Sucaba, La Folie, and more. Good food grocery store as well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re going to Churchkey, which you should if you’re in DC.

Located a short walk from the DPC metro near Logan Circle. Plenty of good restaurants around if you need an excuse to be in the neighborhood. Pretty standard Whole Foods layout and decor, and always crowded as hell. The beer selection is surprisingly small, but well thought out. The focus seems to be on local brewers, but there are plenty of Belgians, JP, weird ciders, and some other out of market stuff you won’t see elsewhere. Receives just about all of the special release beers that are distributed to DC. The aisle clerks are helpful but not super knowledgeable. Prices are fair. A good though not very accessible spot.

Stopped in here and picked up a Hitachino Weizen that we don’t get in NC for some reason. Need to fix that because that might be the best hefeweizen I have ever had. Anyway, this is your typical very busy WFM. geared toward singles and couples, it has lots of smaller checkout counters allowing for constant flow of customers checking out. Nice selection, a few locals.
