70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Boutip (53) Gatineau, Quebec | July 11, 2012 This is a medium size liquor store located in the older part of Watertown. Great selection of north east breweries with also a good representation of larger west coast breweries being available. I really appreciated the fact that you could build your own mixers from a large variety of singles. Price appears to be fair with some large bottle being somewhat pricey (Belgian, Dogfish). Staffs were helpful though not the most knowledgeable. Growler station had some semi-interesting stuff on though most of the beers were blond or amber ales. Good place to stop when in Watertown though not necessarily worth a stop depending which other part of the states you are visiting. | 60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20 pushkinwow (70) Ottawa, Ontario | March 29, 2012 Visited this place on a day trip into the US. Selection is very good in terms of what you can get without going to something further south in NY. Prices are a little odd - regular packages and singles are quite expensive (although you do get a nice 10% discount when mixing and matching) but the bombers are quite reasonable. Found some nice gems like Firestone XV, had 120 minutes IPA on tap for a growler fill and some other interesting brews from Dogfish Head and North Coast. Place was empty but didn’t really get to talk to the help behind the counter or the guy who was doing some stock stuff - they seemed lost in their own world - but that being said I didn’t ask for any help either. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area although if I am going to Suracuse for the weekend I would probably drive the extra distance to Beers of the World and pass by here. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (412) Ottawa, Ontario | December 4, 2011 A great new place in Watertown, with a good selection of American offerings, 12 taps, some imports, wall of mix and match (if you buy 6, 10% discount). An oasis in this town.
| 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 16/20 Bif (64) St. Louis, Missouri | October 1, 2011 Found this little gem of a beer store while working in the Watertown area. They have been open less than a year, but carry a large selection of craft beers from around the US and from overseas as well as offerings from the local and regional craft brewers. There is a large walk-in cooler full of beer ready to consume. If you are undecided on what you want there is a wall of single beers to build a six-pack mixer from. In addition to having Kegs available, there are normally 4-5 rotating beers on tap for growlers.
