Pretty nice selection, though very classic. Pretty pricey, but then again, you are in a small communal town at the sea side. If I were to live here instead of Gent, then I’d probably be a very happy man to have such a big selection at home. The guy wasn’t exactly friendly on both occasions I went there, however my American friends were received very friendly when I sent them there. Oh well. If you’re on holiday in Wenduine or nearby, and you want a good beer, go check it out and have an aperitif. Afterwards you take the tram to Ostend and have dinner in the Bistronoom. ;-)

Cosy little store in Wenduine. They’ve got a decent selection, including their own contracted beers, which actually are quite nice. beers include most ’normal lambics, some Oud Bruin and Vlaams rood, and all the trappist. Well, not everything, but last time i was there they had the La trappe Quadrupel oak aged, AND, yes, they had all three Westvleteren-beers. The shop is rather tiny, but in the summer months it has a ’terras’, so you can drink on site. Nice!
