Located in a nondescript building in a nondescript town plan b features lots of craft beer and artsinal liquor as well as these really striking wall O’booze. They have a dozen craft beers on tap and for some reason pbr. They also have a number of large bottles and craft beers in cans. They dont have anything too unusual or rare or outlandish. They seem to focus almost exclusively on regional craft labels. They also do a pretty decent bacon cheeseburger. The service was attentive and they really tried to match people to beers they might like. They do serve bmc product but they keep it well hidden. The prices aren’t cheap because this CT and everyone here is a garillionaire.

The original Plan B has a small bar that always seems to be crowded - but in a good way. They have an exceptional selection of craft brews and knowledgable bartenders to help you sort through the selections. The food is burger based but the variety and originality is outstanding. If you passing through on I-84 in the West Hartford area or on your way to U. Hartford, it’s worth a detour.

I could not believe that Plan B did not exist on RateBeer!! They pride their tap selection on beers that you cannot find anywhere else. Last month I stopped by to pick up lunch for the office and they had Stone Double Bastard, Rogue Double Dead Guy, and Great Divide’s Titan IPA on tap. Needless to say, I almost didn’t want to go back to work! In addition to their quality selection, there burgers are the best burgers in the STATE!! Made from daily ground beef (never frozen), this place is fantastic. But as it is in most places, if they serve top notch burgers and high quality (rare) craft beers, you’re going to pay for it.
