Very attentive service from knowledgeable staff. Selection was good, despite the fact that they’re closing for renovations tomorrow for ten days or so, and on 4 March they’ll open from the opposite end of the same building, and thus their address will change to De Toekomststraat. Excellent beer shop associated with De Ranke so has their beers along with other quality products from the likes of Senne, Dupont and Struise and from hard-to-find breweries like Brouwkot. I visited the beer store in January 2009. The nice store was founded by Tonino Bacelle who is Nino Bacelle’s(Brouwerij De Ranke) elder brother.
You may be able to find some great belgian beers with the inclusion of Wevelgemse Tripel, a softer, tweaked version of Guldenberg. |
