| Sammy (273), Toronto, Ontario | | November 13, 2009 Near the airport, Transit area. Pretty large and pleasant place, frequented by lots of college studatents, so everyone can get ID’d there. Crowded but still feeling of some room if you can get at the bar for your order. Saw about 20 or so taps, with some decent selections, but not the big new ones you can get nearby at Pizza Plant, and certainly at Cole’s and Mr. Goodbar. You can get 6 oz. size glasses, perfect for a proper sampling. I tried their house beers this way which were passable. Music is kept down and folk rocky so conversation is easy. Separate bar area for those eating at a bar, which was good. Very good service for a buzy place. | | spkldhenlvr24 (28), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York | | August 25, 2009 Decent brewpub. The beers aren’t that good. The food isn’t half bad, pub grub. Pretty nice inside, if peanuts shells on the floor isn’t your thing. Solid selection of tap beers that you could have a fun night with but nothing most people havent tried before. Service was pretty bad the couple times I ate here. Check it out if you really want to, but only for that. | | rudolf (67), Buffalo, New York | | July 28, 2009 Good enough pub grub & they usually have some decent guest taps. Unfortunately their house beer isn’t all that great. Check them out if you’re looking for a tick, otherwise head to Pizza Plant if you’re in that area. | alexkeil (4), New York does not count - explanation | | May 4, 2008 The Brew Pub has great bartenders that are knowledgable of the beers available. The food is what you would expect - above average pub food clean bathrooms, plenty of parking, good place for drinking at the bar or sitting down for dinner. As far as the beer selection, there is usually a good selection of New York beers like saranac, ithaca, flying bison, southern tier and brooklyn but sadly no middle ages. There is also normally a great lakes and long trail available. As far as the house brew its hit and miss, but the oatmeal stout is great and around christmas they have a strong ale that is good. | | rob897 (10), Buffalo, New York | | October 15, 2007 Always a good selection of beers and I believe they still have their Mug Club there.
Food is usually decent and have an endless supply of peanuts and popcorn. | | beerlord (11), tonawanda, New York | | June 12, 2007 Nice homey pub feel, great service with lots of waiters/waitress present. Free peanuts and pop corna dn the peanut shells go on the floor. Menu has somthign for everybody and the food is top notch, howe ever their house beers suck. Get one of the others they have on tap. | gwpom (4), Akron, New York does not count - explanation | | February 1, 2007 I go here often, mostly because it’s the closest local brewery to where I live, but I keep going back because I’m always happy with the beer. Nothing really fancy like Coles, but a convenient, family style restaurant that also makes its own beer. I can recommend the BP. | | BuckNaked (28), Tempe, Arizona | | December 30, 2005 Cozy local bar with light what looking like pine long bar and interior. Well lit, but not bright, with shells of penuts all over the floor. I personally like places like this, where you can saddle up to the bar with a friend and drink some beer. House offerings are not very good but they had a nice selection of 20 or so guest taps including Anchor OSA, Great Lakes Burning River, and Ithica Cascazilla to name a few when I was there. Bar staff was friendly and prompt, though did not seem very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. Too bad their beers aren’t good. | | DYCSoccer17 (187), Davis, California | | November 4, 2004 Well, this place has a fair amount of taps with mostly macros and some european macros and a few local micros. They had 2 or 3 of their own beers on tap, which were god-awful and atrotious. There is a fair amount of room in this place as there is a long bar. If not for their beer sucking so badly, this place could be decent. |
