1 review for Avenue Wine and Spirits
Heathen (3), Riverside, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | July 6, 2008 Small store that has a fairly equal balance of wine, beer, and liquor. The beer selection isn’t always great. It is usually best around the fall and christmas seasons, but they do get their hands on some wacky imports that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I’m talking beers from places like Argentina and Wales. The one warning I can give though is that their warm beer section is in front of a tinted window that I think lets in a little too much light. I’ve had two or three skunked bottles of rare stuff I bought because I had never seen them anywhere else. So if the bottle looks a little dusty on those shelves it’s probably skunked, but if there isn’t any dust, pick it up right away because the next time you come back it might be skunked. |
