Not typically the first place you think of when in search for good beer in Wilmington. In fact, the thought probably doesn’t even cross your mind at all. Different story for wine, or for top notch food. But for beer? Gotta say, it’s worth checking out. Sadly, no drafts to speak of at this point. The bottle list is more than sufficient, however, with numerous well selected beers from the best producers around the world served in high quality, style appropriate stem ware. Even more impressive, the beers are served at appropriate temperatures--many of which are poured straight from the wine cellar. Don’t see that often. Prices could be better, but they aren’t out of whack for this caliber of a restaurant. For example, Black Ops is sold for about $8 above local retail pricing, if you could even find it on retail shelves in the area. Add some taps, and the selection and value rating goes way up. Without question, you can’t find a better meal in the area. The phenomenal food (and that’s an understatement) paired with both a well crafted beer list and one of the best wine lists I’ve ever seen makes this a return visit for my wife and I.
