| magsinva (55), Virginia | | June 16, 2011 The movie experience was great, I really enjoyed having folks bringing me food during a movie. The bad, the selection was OK, more BMC then I would like, though they did have a lambic on tap which you typically don’t see. So I’m kind of torn if I would drive 50+ miles to see a movie here when I can’t rate the beer on my phone as I consume it. It’s quite hard to write on paper in the mostly dark theater to take my notes. | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | June 14, 2011 As a beer experience it was merely ok. I know it’s Winchester but that have way to much overlapping BMC and foreign versions of BMC on their list. And it’s not exactly the best environment to judge a beer when you can get kicked out for turning on your cell phone in the theater. As a movie-going experience, it was fantastic. People bring you food and beer as you watch a feature film. In a sense it’s a restaurant that shows movies. It was very clean. Everything was shown at the proper aspect ratio and with the proper amount of light. I’ve had so many poor theatrical experiences I think it’s almost worth driving 50 miles out of my way to watch a movie. | | Davetopay (14), Leesburg, Virginia | | January 31, 2010 A movie house with a full kitchen and a whole lotta beer. Featuring such great drafts as DFH, Delirium, Bell’s, Piraat, and many more. An ever rotating selection of seasonal brews is available in both draft and bottle/can service. Look out for special events and promotions. A neat place in an area that could use more good beer exposure. |
