TheCommodore (9), Ontario does not count - explanation | | May 20, 2010 Excellent establishment. Great service. Overall impressed with the selection and quailty. | | mabel (211), Toronto, Ontario | | April 25, 2009 Visited on a Sunday afternoon in November, there was a girl’s hockey tournament going on in the parking lot across the street, but not many people inside the pub. Fun folksy music was playing and the place was your typical green carpet/brown tables/red paint with memorabilia hung from the walls kind of club. Friendly attentive staff served various brews on tap like McAuslan, Propeller, Granite and Keith’s. We were passing through the area anyway so we stopped in, but it may be a little bit of a let down if you’re coming from farther away. | | Gethinbeer (94), Musky, Nova Scotia | | April 5, 2009 [ Updated July 11, 2011 ] Not much of a RateBeer pub but still a very nice pub in Windsor also my Rugby clubhouse.. Decent amount of local beer available. They also serve McAulsan Oatmeal Stout. Guinness is pretty good too. The food is your typical pub grub, but very tasty. Overall a good pub. | | OKBeer (33), Halifax, Nova Scotia | | July 5, 2006 Decent food, plus a reasonably good bottle list for the area. They’ll bring in a lot of things, nothing particularly rare or out of the ordinary though. The tap list is large enough to be decent without having a number of kegs sitting around way too long like Maxwell’s Plum, and having a Grantie brewery beer on the handpump is a nice touch. A nice setting too, the publican modelled it after several English pubs he had visited. |
