| Onenote81 (72), Winston-Salem, North Carolina | | April 20, 2012 This is still one of my favorite bars in the city. They continually rotate taps and offer a good selection each time. Good representation of locals, but they often have a "rare" special tap, such as Event Horizon, or BBA-People’s Porter. Their food is always stellar, and service is friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this place to people. | crimsintaku (1), winston salem, North Carolina does not count - explanation | | April 18, 2011 This place realy feels like a high quality bar. And its all bar. | poleywog (3), Winston Salem, North Carolina does not count - explanation | | May 7, 2010 Good neighbor place to have a bite, drink a pint, and watch a game. | | Butters (164), Richmond, Virginia | | September 7, 2008 This bar had a very unique atmosphere - sort of like an old diner that had been retrofitted into a bar. Some outside seating was nice. Inside was pleasant because it was not crowded, but it would feel very cramped if more people were around. Definitely had an emphasis on draft beer. Fair selection of locals and other micros. Average prices and very friendly staff. I’ll go back. | | Zeswaft (110), Seattle, Washington | | October 6, 2006 I’ve been to this place several times back in college and it’s usually crowded. Beer selection is not great. Though they may have a lot of taps they are the likes of Blue Moon, Guiness, Bass, Widmer Bros, ect. Every once in a while they had a decent beer, eg. celebration ale, listed on the chalk board but it was always "out." The only interesting thing they seemed to have were a couple of Natty Green Beers on tap all the time but those aren’t any good. Oh yeah, the best thing I can remember them having were some Highland beers. The food is usually pretty good, wide variety of pub food but with a twist and added quality. Since there’s not much to do in W-S i’d say go there once a month. | | freekyp (31), Thomasville, North Carolina | | September 10, 2006 Decent bar with a nice selection of local and regional brews ranging from the local Foothills, to brews from Asheville and Atlanta. Good bar service, but no tables available except for a few outside hightops. Food is decent bar sandwich far. A decent little place to spend an evening.
