A fine freshly established brewery (from 1999), works only with Hallertau aromahops. Brewery and restaurant in Wolnzach, in the heart of the Hallertau, the biggest hop-growing region in the world. The brewerie brews 3 regular beers and also seasonals. Dureing the time of my visit the seasonal beer was Aktionator Doppelbock. The brewery has a little shop where you can buy their bottled beers, glasses and other souvenirs. There is a restaurant and beer garden next to a duck pond on site. The restaurant offers Bavarian dishes, well-prepared and high quality. I was very happy with the service, the food and the beer. A great place! |
