| BiddleBrau (58), Fort Washington, Pennsylvania | | December 12, 2011 Stopped in for dinner on our way down I-90. Decent beer list with good share of local brews. Good number of taps and standard bottle list. Burger was pretty good. Service was good for us. Ambiance was pretty basic. Not a must see place but if you’re in the area for a relaxed meal or quaff a few local suds, it’ll fit the bill. | diechipmunk (2), does not count - explanation | | December 2, 2011 Food is average pub food, some things are really good, others not. Beer list is better than most places, though not up with Dive Bar and Armsby Abbey. The main reason to choose this place is casks. They have 3 beer engines to choose from. Service has usually been good, had 1 bad experience, so we just moved to the bar when seats opened up.
It’s well worth a visit. | kingofalldans (9), Indiana does not count - explanation | | May 21, 2011 Really just an ok place. ok beer, ok food, ok service | OBoftheDEAD (1), Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | December 22, 2010 Pretty good place, bartender is great, waitresses, not as much. The stand out here is the amazing burgers. They’ve got a pretty varied beer selection, oh and some great pretzel apps. | | irishalky (13), Littleton, Massachusetts | | September 12, 2010 Could be so much better. Great location, nice building, poor food and poor beer selection. Service could be so much better. | | Kevinkarpiak (13), Massachusetts | | May 30, 2010 With places like The Dive Bar and Armsby Abbey in town, there’s no reason to ever step foot inside this place. Their beer is nor as good, the ambience not as enjoyable and, worse still, their beers are often more expensive. If you want a sportsbar feel, there are plenty if better, cheaper options. If you want a place where you can sip on your Bud Light in peace, go to the Vernon Hotel or the Emerald Island, where they’re much cheaper. | bbourque1976 (5), Gilbert, Arizona does not count - explanation | | December 31, 2008 This place has a good selection and has changed a lot since the Dive re imaged and the Abbey opened. A little pricey though as they charge 15.00 for the Banana Bread beer, which is 10.00 at the Abbey. | Redseal94 (5), Lafayette, Indiana does not count - explanation | | March 4, 2008 IMO this place has the best selection in Woosta. I like the acoustic sets at night for some laid back music, but the place can get loud. Service is OK as well as food. | | eaglefan538 (91), Wilmington, Delaware | | January 18, 2008 Well, the beer scene in Worcester isn’t all that stellar, so this one is relatively speaking a pretty good stop if you’re in need of some beer while in Woousta’. Service was snooty and unfriendly. The selection was pretty solid, multiple taps and lots of bottles. The scenery was a little run down and beat up, but if you’re looking more for a bar than a restaurant, this isn’t a bad place to go. Food, can’t speak to it, but I can’t imagine it was all that good. Lock the doors on the way here from the WPI campus, though. | stoutman73 (1), worcester, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | February 19, 2007 The food definitely needs to be worked on here. The selection of beer was far from being impressive. How about a frosted glass for the beers! |
