Nice place, specialty is wine but has a small assortment of bottles but the brews there were nice.. I picked up a 2008 Bare Tree and Hop Juice. The staff there were really friendly and I got to talk beer for a few minutes. Prices were good, there were a couple of things there I had bought locally that were a little cheaper. Really nice place, I’d like to see there assortment increase when I go back next year for the street fair.

Yellow Springs is a town of 3800 people and there are several great places to get beer and wine. The Emporium is one of them. Read the linked article and you’ll get a feel. This is relaxed - you can’t drink here, but there is coffee and some great little eats and a great (and getting better) beer selection. Personal connection to the new owners through my job, so biases are right up front there. Vick (the beer guy) is doing a great job. For example, he got in some new stuff today, SkilessVillian posted the news, I called and beers are in the fridge there for me for tomorrow. Excellent service in the beer department.
