This place is impressive! I could not believe there is a store like this in Alabama.I counted 213 types of beer. I will make this my stop every time I come to Birmngham.

Had a few beers that were hard to find, of course nothing over 6%. Mixed six packs were cool. They cost about 2 dollars per beer, which is not a good deal for most of the beers.

Well you have to take into consideration that this is Alabama. Considering that, the selection is nice. A lot of beers you wont find in other places. It looks like its in the slums, the inside looks like the place is out of the 80’s but the coolers are cold and the owner is a nice guy. We’ll be back

It doesn’t matter if they have every beer in Alabama, because the selection will still be awful. The 6% law is crushing us. Free the Hops is helping, but it’s going to be a while. As other raters have said, you can design your own six pack at this place, but it’s expensive as hell.

This place is absolutely terrible. There are other places in town with as good of a selection and more friendly staff. The selection is decent, but not the best. I was told the warehouse was out of a particular beer, but I found it at Overton and Vine the same day. A large gentleman assisted me. He didn’t know the difference between a pale ale and a pilsner. Prices are outrageous because they bank on tricking you into thinking they have the best selection.

Uh-oh. Visiting places like Birmingham make me appreciate what little beer we have back home. This seemed to easily have the best beer selection out of the few places that I stopped around town. 6 packs are available in singles. I was hoping to pick up some Olde Town brews, but they were out of stock. According to the guy working, the whole warehouse was out of stock. Prices here are very, very high. Liquor and beer at another package store just down the street was just as expensive. The prices are much higher than even East TN. I picked up some beers from Atlanta Brewing which I haven’t seen anywhere outside of GA. Four twelve ounce beers cost me $9.50, but I don’t think you’re gonna beat that price anywhere else in town. Okay, here’s a little update. I bought a bottle of Red Brick Ale here that I later discovered upon tasting was ancient and horribly infected. So, be weary of what you buy here.

Convenient off of I-65. Not the best looking place nor a huge selection but you always got to like a place that will let you mix sixers. On this visit I found selections from Old Town, Atlanta Brewing, and Brooklyn Brewing that I can not get in TN along with Rogue and Sweetwater to name just a few of the other notables. Very friendly guy working the place that is proud of what he has.

The dude that owns this place is a cool guy, all 300 lbs of him. His place is kind of a dump though. It has bars on the windows and old goofy advertisments of smiling babes in bikinis. The beer selection is decent (good for Birmingham) but his prices are outrageous - when I lived there I just decided to go to Bruno’s and buy Mackeson’s, Anchor, Firestone, and Rogue. From talking to him, it seems he has tried to get other brewers and they just aren’t yet ready to come to Alabama.

Well, I guess this is what you get in Birmingham Alabama, but it really had nothing to really offer. They had Castle Lager from South Africa, the only beer in the store that I had never had, so I grabbed a six pack and it was $12!!!!!

A great selection for Birmingham (i.e. only place you can find Savannah Dry, except Dave’s Pub), yet quite expensive. Also, not the most attractive part of town.
