64 Visited just after the lunch hour on a weekday, so it wasn’t overly crowded. I tried one beer (Scotch Ale), and it was decent. My pizza was good, but I seldom encounter a pizza that I dislike. I’ll have to stop back the next time I visit town. |
54 Oggi’s is not packed, because their food is HORRIBLE. The beer is outstanding. They have several REALLY good brews on tap. But this place ain’t going to last until they get a chef that can make good food. I go for the beer only. I have friends that refuse to go there because there is nothing they can eat that doesn’t taste crappy. |
62 Walked in and felt like deja vu. The places all look the same on the inside. Nearly 25 TV’s pervade the place. Friendly staff but wasn’t much going on at 2:30 on a Thursday. Very attentive. The Italian Stallion pizza was awesome. The Wimbledon was good too. Beer could be better. |
74 consistently good food and service. stick to the big three or four beers and you’re good. nine beers on tap (only four were any good) if you like watching TV while you eat, this is a good place to be |
56 A bit yuppified but not to bad at least the lighting was decent. The service at the bar was’nt to bad, but a little slow at times. The beer selection was about 6 beers but half of them were mediocre at best. OK place but there are better stops in Scottsdale. |
82 I took my family here during a recent Phoenix vacation. We received excellent service from our server. She was more than happy to serve my beer in a room temperature glass. The pizza we ordered was top notch. And the two beers I drank were excellent. Would totally enjoy another visit. |
68 Sat at the bar and saw the bartender pull glasses from the fridge -no wonder the glasses are ice cold. Bartender was in a grumpy mood as it was his last night and had lots of big groups sitting in the bar area all the way until closing (with the UT/WVU & ucla/Zags NCAA tourney games of course). Ambieance/overall are affected because I am still a few hours later trying tofigure out what they were thinking with that location. Sure its right on the 101, but you cant get to it. Only caters to the TPC really. Beer was above average. Didn’t eat however. |
32 I’ve had the same experience as others. Poor service from unknowledgeable staff and beer in ice cold frosty glasses. One of the waiters once said that all beers should be served ice cold. My god, if you are a brewpub, train your staff. Most of the beer was ’imported’ from their California locations. Located in North Scottsdale. Not the easiest place to find even if you are a local. |
82 We were there during the NCAA playoffs. They were really good about putting on the game we wanted to see at several tvs near us (they have 27). Good beer sampler. The food was really good also. Would definitely recommend you try it. We would go back ourselves.
We were back again in May. They have two beers that appear to be unique to the Scottsdale location (English Mild and Cabron de Mayo). The bartender we had was knowledgeable. The beer did come in the ice cold frosty glasses. I don’t think that it is a difficult place to find. |
