Great selection of beer, plus their own brew on tap as well. i had their porter, which was pretty tasty. Wait staff wasn’t incredibly attentive, although they were a little busy. they were very nice, however. The best craft place in the state? Possibly. The owner Ron is very knowlegable and has been around a long time. Great selection of bottles and taps. Local hometown bar feel with bottles lining the windows and tap handles on the wall. Hosts great events with brewers and has some of the rarer kegs to hit AZ. What sets this place apart is the massive beer fridge and ability to get bottles to go. This place has great beers on tap and has a great beer fridge. Every time I am there it seems they have something I have not been offered before. I would recommend for anyone to go there. The one thing they would benefit from is better service. This is hands down the most popular and prestigous beer place in arizona. Their selection and constant rotation of rare taps is hard to beat anywhere I have been in the country. However, the service is not good. It seems like an eternity when trying to order a beer although most recently this had improved thanks to one server. Tucked in a little strip mall, I drove by this place and missed it two times. The place defines local ambiance. Nothing fancy here. Just a bar with taps, tables, and a walk up cooler full of bottles. The taps feature some of their beers (good to decent) and a bunch of rotating guest beers. I happened to miss Parabola by a few hours, but I was able to try Bruery Cuir. The selection of bottles is excellent, and the take home price is not all that much different from the price to drink it there. If fact, the Odells Friek was cheaper to drink there over purchasing it at a local liquor store. Great little beer bar / brewpub (?) in average sized strip mall with cool outer décor adobe theme. Big space inside (they expanded into the adjoining space) with about 10 seats at the bar, other home made high bar tables and lots and lots of tables. This place definitely has the ‘home made’ or ‘do it yourself’ feel to it which obviously adds to the character. I count 31 tap handles and a beer engine plus about a 12 door cooler full of their tasty bottle selection. I have been told this place typically has the freshest tap and bottle selection around and there seems to be about 4 or so Papago brews on tap too. So there tap selection is pretty fluid as kegs seem to drain pretty fast. The food I’ve had so far has been very tasty. I will be back often. |
